The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation offers a $1000 scholarship to a Pickerington Local Schools or a Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce- affiliated high school senior enrolling in one the following schools: Central Ohio Technical College, Columbus State Community College, Ohio Christian University, Ohio University Lancaster Campus/Pickerington Center, or The Ohio State University at Newark. The scholarship is for direct educational expenses only and is paid directly to the student's school upon enrollment. This is a one-year, non-renewable scholarship. The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation does not discriminate in its scholarship program on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, religion, disability or handicap, sex or gender.
Students who apply for the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship do so with the intention of obtaining a certificate or degree. Selection of the recipient will be based upon the student's information provided on the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Application. The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee reviews applications and essays, selects the recipient, and presents the scholarship. The decision of the Committee is final.
Scholarship eligibility is limited to high school seniors attending Pickerington High School Central, Pickerington High School North, or Pickerington Alternative School and/or high school seniors employed by a Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce member or whose parents are employees of Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce members.
All eligible students are encouraged to apply regardless of GPA or class standing.
