The Leadership Journey of a Woman in Healthcare
Hear from one of OhioHealth’s rising female leaders, Kristina Stuecher, as she details her journey in healthcare. Along with sharing her personal story, Kristina will also provide an update and insights on her current role—overseeing the construction and operations of OhioHealth’s Women’s Health Center, slated to open on the campus of Riverside Methodist Hospital in 2027.Kristina is an advocate for prioritizing women's voices in the future of healthcare. Historic gaps in research, bias in treatment, and a lack of inclusive care models have created mistrust between some women and their healthcare providers. Kristina leads efforts to continue transforming women’s care, encouraging providers to prioritize listening to women, actively involving them in discussions about their care, and integrating their feedback into medical education and practice.

Kristina Stuecher is the executive leader serving as Vice President Operations for the OhioHealth Women’s Center. Kristina was named to lead the largest investment in OhioHealth’s history; a dedicated and comprehensive hospital and medical office building for women’s and reproductive health on the Riverside Methodist Hospital campus opening in early 2027. In this role, Kristina serves as the operational executive to deliver on the promise of quality care that is a coordinated, seamless, and personalized for all.
Kristina has been with OhioHealth for 10 years, serving in executive roles within the OhioHealth Physician Group across Surgery, Women's Health, and Primary Care Service Lines.
When Kristina is not spending time with her daughter and husband, you can find her enjoying the Columbus vibrant performing arts scene or supporting the Franklin County community through service, where she serves on the Board for Freedom a la Cart and Community Shelter Board.

The Women’s Leadership Coalition was launched with the goal to educate, inspire, mentor, and support women in leadership positions in the workplace and in the community. The program also fulfills key parts of Pickerington Area Chamber's vision and mission to provide opportunities for connection and to help our members and community thrive both today and tomorrow.
