Connecting through Storytelling

Learn how to craft compelling messages and stories that help you connect with your customers or stakeholders. Whether you are a business looking to drive sales, or a nonprofit trying to raise funds, or an organization trying to raise awareness about your services, storytelling is an effective and impactful way to forge a stronger relationship with the people you are trying to reach. This session will help you:

• Determine the types of stories your organization should be telling
• Create a plan to capture and craft stories
• Identify platforms, timing, and tactics to communicate your stories most effectively

Angela Krile
President & CEO of Krile Communications



Angela Krile is President & CEO of Krile Communications, a full-service communications firm based in Sugar Grove. She has served as a communications consultant for more than 25 years for organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies and statewide trade associations to local school districts and nonprofit organizations. She graduated from the E.W Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and has served on numerous boards throughout the community and state. In 2016, she was appointed by Governor John Kasich to serve as a Commissioner with the Ohio Expo Commission and Ohio State Fair, and she is currently the chair of Commission. Angela and her husband, Greg—a math teacher at Lancaster High School, live on a farm In Sugar Grove with their two teenage sons.
