About Us

n 2004, Cakes Creatively by Crystal officially became a business.

What started as a hobby, soon became a part time and then a second full time job for owner Crystal Alward. While working as a teacher in Family and Consumer Science, Crystal would create wedding cakes for roughly 100 newly engaged couples every year to play a role in making their dream wedding become a reality.

In 2017, it was time to expand. Porter's Coffee House and Bakery (www.porterscoffeeandbakery.com) opened its doors in March of 2019. Although the parent company is Cakes Creatively by Crystal, Porter's is our store front name. Open daily to patrons, serving coffee, pastries, sandwiches and of coarse cakes.

Our wedding cakes are all about you, designed especially for you and your special day. Choose from a variety of flavors and fillings to impress you and all of your guests.
