Prevention Coordinator

The Fairfield County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board is seeking a passionate individual to serve as the Prevention Coordinator, providing community prevention, education and training related services/programs. This role involves the organization of trainings (sometimes as the presenter and other times as the facilitator) as well as community events and working with local coalitions. This public-facing individual will enjoy working with both youth and families and be the subject matter expert on prevention for the ADAMH Board. Prevention Grant Management and reporting are other key components of the position.

Education requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (master’s degree preferred) in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant Certification or ability to acquire preferred, but Ohio Certified Prevention credential of some level required.
