Lancaster re-enactor, Dave Reed, will entertain and educate guests with tales of what it was like being an Eastern Longhunter between 1740-1790. A "longhunter" was a person who would leave home and go on hunts for a long period of time. Dave will bring his flintlock and be dressed in period clothing. Program will be held in the Historical Museum's handicap-accessible Lower Level with entry at the rear of the building next to the fire station in Olde Pickerington Village. Program is FREE and suitable for school-age youngsters and adults of all ages. Complimentary refreshments provided.
