This is a 5K walk/run to benefit the Be the Match Foundation.

Funds generated from the Fun Run will go to Be The Match in honor of Emily Reincheld. Emily suffers from a severe case of Aplastic Anemia. Emily's Fun Run has been organized by the 2013 LEADS class through the Pickerington Chamber of Commerce.

Be The Match Foundation® raises funds to help patients who need a bone marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant find a donor and receive treatment.

Be The Match Foundation and Be The Match®, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program®, have developed smart, compassionate and effective programs to dismantle barriers to marrow transplant.

For people with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma or other diseases, a cure exists. Be The Match® connects patients with their donor match for a life-saving marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant.
