Inhabitants of the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Society Museum will come to life Sunday afternoon, September 16. This FREE, open to the public, family-friendly event takes place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Museum (former Carnegie Library) located at 15 E. Columbus Street. See show-and-tell skits by Abraham Pickering, Andrew Carnegie, W.B. “Doc” Taylor, Ray Wetherell, Cleo Mason Richter, and Anna Milnor Young. The event also includes music, children’s games/prizes, and complimentary refreshments. “Afternoon at the Museum" is part of Ohio History Connection's "Open Doors" at historic sites across Ohio September 7-16.
