THE PREMIER SCHOOL STRENGTHENS ITS COMMUNITY BONDS
    WHILE ENRICHING THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE

The Premier School—a pre-school whose core mission is to provide a brighter future for early childhood development—is strengthening its community bonds with a variety of exciting initiatives designed to enrich the experiences of the children it educates.

By partnering with Amber Park Assisted Living Center, the school has created a heartwarming connection between its students and local seniors.

“We created a joint venture with Amber Park Assisted Living Center, the area’s most trusted assisted living facility for senior citizens,” explained Jennelle Johnson, the school’s original director who, together with her husband Jim, took over its ownership in December 2017. “Through this partnership, we’re enabling our community’s young children and seniors to interact, and the activities are something that everyone looks forward to. We’re thrilled that we’re able to give back to these seniors and brighten their day in such a meaningful way.”

According to Jim Johnson, the preschool has also been a member of the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce for several years, and is looking into ways to partner with additional community organizations, including the Lions Club.

“We believe that by strengthening the school’s community involvement, we can better fulfill our primary objective, which is to provide local families with the very best developmental environment for their young children,” Jim said.

The Premier School’s faculty and staff take pride in helping children discover themselves, celebrating their unique abilities and accomplishments on a daily basis. Striving to serve as a life-changing convenience for parents, the school also offers hours of operation designed to make busy lives and careers easier, along with a variety of options in the way of membership plans, which include meals, snacks and learning materials. Currently, The Premier School has over 120 children enrolled.

“Our faculty and staff are some of the most caring and devoted individuals we’ve ever met,” Jennelle remarked. “These incredible people are passionate about preparing children for the next phase of their lives, ensuring all the necessary building blocks are in place. To lead this operation and take a role in shaping our future generations is a distinct honor.”
