Ohio Loves Transit!

On February 14th, 2018, Lancaster Fairfield Public Transit will be joining forces with OPTA, participating in a statewide initiative to celebrate Transit in Ohio. During this day, Lancaster Fairfield Public Transit will be giving free rides on their loop buses, promoting the need for public transit in our community. The purpose of this day is to celebrate transit and how it is helping move Ohio forward.

Normally, the cost is $0.50 general public fare, $0.25 mobility (elderly/disabled fare), and $0.10 transfers; but on February 14th it’s free. All you need to do is look for the posted stops indicated on the route schedules, route map, or by posted signs (at most locations). Be at the stop at least 5 minutes prior to departure.

Transit works to provide safe, reliable, affordable transportation to insure that thousands of individuals have access to work, food, medical, and leisure time destinations. On February 14th, 2018, we look forward to seeing you experience and enjoy what transit has to offer and move forward in the growing transit world.
