Fairfield National Bank Sponsors Lights, Camera, Save Video Contest

Lancaster- For the past six years, Fairfield National Bank has participated in the Lights, Camera, Save! video contest.  Sponsored by the American Bankers Association Foundation, Lights, Camera, Save! is a national, bank-driven competition that encourages teens to use video to communicate the value of saving and inspire others to become lifelong savers.

To participate, students (ages 13-18) create a 90-second video on saving and using money wisely and submit a link to the video along with a completed entry form to the bank by Dec. 1. Local winners are then selected and the first place winning video is then submitted to the national contest for a chance to win $5000, plus a scholarship for a teacher at their school to attend the 2018 Jump$tart National Educator Conference in Washington.
Videos will be judged on their quality, message, content and the criteria set forth by the contest's official rules.

Both our winning video and our second place video came from members of the Lancaster High School Broadcasting Career Tech program. The first place team received $250 and a matching gift for their school and the second place team received $100 with a matching gift for their school.

Pictured are the first place team lead by Portia Pack and second place team lead by Owen Anderson, along with Fairfield National Bank Marketing Director, Molly Bates.
