FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Home of The Pickering House is seeking a Community Educator (CE) to be the face of the company in the agency’s service area - Fairfield, Hocking, Perry and surrounding counties of Athens, Franklin, Licking, Muskingum, Pickaway, and Vinton.
We believe in a professional team approach and candidates must demonstrate great communication and social interaction skills, as well as, be a compassionate individual to work with patients, families and other professionals to promote the philosophy of hospice palliative care.
We are looking for someone who is experienced to provide outreach to Hocking, Athens, and Perry Counties in building and nurturing relationships, with area care and medical facilities, health care providers, senior centers, houses of worship, etc. and with patients themselves. The ideal CE candidate works to maintain knowledge of and understand area competition and the ever-changing trends in healthcare and hospice/palliative care in the market.
This position is a full-time position with flexible scheduling; some evenings and weekend commitments required. Computer skills required. Minimum two (2) years-experience in the healthcare setting.

• Coordinate Community Outreach Events
• Formulate and Coordinate Wide-reaching Educational Opportunities
• Obtain appropriate referral documents and submit to office in a timely manner
• Participate in speaking engagements and Continuing Education Programs
• Remain HIPAA compliant at all times
