    All about the Role:

    1. Act as Marketing Lead for two or more of the six primary OAC business lines:

    a. Collaborate with business line leaders to understand the assigned business line’s goals, strategic priorities and needs.

    b. Develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets for assigned business lines that effectively utilize available channels and tactics to help drive business success.

    c. Delegate duties to other team members as appropriate and coordinate team efforts for the assigned areas of responsibility.

    d. Complete projects on time and within budget.

    e. Track and report metrics and results.

     

    2. Manage the conceptualization, production, execution, and evaluation of tactics across all channels of the marketing function including:

    a. Brand development.

    b. Media advertising – Television, radio, outdoor and other forms of media.

    c. Marketing communications - Copywriting and editing, production of print communications including brochures, direct mail, catalogs, and other print pieces.

    d. Collaborate with the Digital experience team to drive results within assigned business lines to increase sales revenue into the club using digital channels-web, email, banners, SEM, social media and other digital communications.

    e. Promotional programs.

    f. Promotional and special events.

    g. Retail promotions, merchandising, POP, and signage.

    h. Public relations support.

    i. Manage internal and external resources, suppliers, vendors, agencies, etc., to complete marketing tactics.

    j. Actively sell club publication advertising to meet and achieve AAA club publication advertising goal.

     

    3. Communicate and collaborate with other associates, departments, and locations, both within and outside of the Brand Management department, to ensure the effective implementation of programs. 

     

    4. Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer on projects for assigned business lines-including copywriting, and initial design. 

     

    5. Plan, execute and manage marketing co-op programs in collaboration with business line vendors and partners. Responsibilities include working with vendor/partner representatives for planning and appropriate approvals, documenting marketing efforts, and working with OAC’s Accounting Department to invoice vendors for their share of costs. 

     

    6. Support the retail program for OAC store locations and Car Care Plus (CCP) facilities by communicating information about business line promotional activities. 

    7.Conduct market research and analysis to better understand and serve internal and external customers and members. 

     

     8. Participate as a team member to assist other Marketing Leads with the implementation of marketing tactics for any of the business lines other than the ones specifically managed. 

     

    9. Develop and implement processes that support the marketing function and the effective execution of programs. 

     

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.

    2. Three to five years of experience in marketing or a marketing-related role.

    3. Knowledge and proficiency in all marketing tactics.

    4. Ability to effectively organize, plan and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities essential.

    5. Excellent written and spoken communication, required. Ability to listen and communicate well at all levels within the organization.

    6. Ability to think strategically and to analyze complex information.

    7. Experience successfully managing a budget.

    8. Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to lead and follow other expert staff.

    9. Professionalism, a positive attitude, a passion for learning, and an interest in growing in the practice of marketing.

    10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or other types of marketing-related software preferred.
