Salary based on experience. Handle all aspects of docketing trademarks, criminal, family law, and consumer protection litigation.
Docket deadlines in both PracticeMaster and attorney’s calendar.
Review incoming and outgoing correspondence; enter/clear dates, upload correspondence, and input notes in docketing system; forward to attorneys and paralegals as needed.
Organize client files.
Review regularly-scheduled deadline audit reports.
Invoice clients monthly using Tabs3.
Following up with multiple clients on a daily basis via telephone and email regarding their accounts.
Responsible for multiple administrative and clerical tasks related to client accounts.
Responsible for following up with attorney about daily deadlines.
Responsible for preparing weekly docket reports for clients and attorneys.
Update the Docketing Manual to establish guidelines, processes, and procedures.
Assisting on special client projects as requested.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One year of trademark docketing experience required.
Knowledge of various court websites, docket searching and document retrieval databases.
Knowledge of basic litigation docketing, calendaring, and Civil Procedure.
Attention to detail.
Strong organizational time and deadline management skills along with the ability to work confidently, efficiently, and independently under pressure and tight deadlines while being detail-oriented and having the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
Solid interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
