DESCRIPTION:Pickerington Community Theatre invites you to step into the pages of the second book in the The Magic Tree House series\; The Magic Tree House The Knight at Dawn KIDS! live on stage.\n\n\n\nABOUT THE SHOW:\n\nMagic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn KIDS is an adaptation of the second of Mary Pope Osborne's award-winning fantasy adventure books from the Magic Tree House book series\, which has sold more than 100 million copies and is available in more than 100 countries around the world. \n\n\n\nJack and Annie\, a brother and sister\, discover a tree house full of books while exploring one afternoon. They discover a book about knights and castles. In it\, there is a bookmark with a strange inscription from the Black Knight\, encouraging them to be brave and gallant if they wish to be knights. \n\n\n\nAnnie wishes to visit the castle in the book\, and before the two siblings know it\, the tree house begins to spin! The two find themselves transported to medieval times to where they meet the sinister Duke\, his Guards\, and the Keepers of the Dungeon. \n\n\n\nWill they show their courage and escape the clutches of the Duke and his minions?\n\n\n\nThe cast and crew of Pickerington Community Theatre's production of "Magic Treehouse: The Knight at Dawn" invites young audience members to dress up in their medieval finest to participate in a costume parade at the end of each performance!\n\n\n\nAfter curtain call for each show\, all audience members who dress in medieval costume will be invited to tread the boards in front of the lords and ladies of Pickerington. Treats will be handed out to all costumed participants\, with a prize being awarded to the best costume of each parade.\n\n\n\nWe hope you will join us for the pageantry\, forsooth!\n\n\n\nPerformance dates are Fridays\, Saturdays and Sundays\, March 30   April 7\, 2019 (Fridays at 8:00 PM and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 PM). \n\n\n\nPerformances will be held at WigWam Theatre (10190 Blacklick-Eastern Rd NW\, Pickerington\, OH 43147).
