DESCRIPTION:Ohio National Guard Advisory Council:\n\n\n\nWe aim to increase your understanding and reduce your concerns about the prevalence of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in military employees. We will emphasize how supportive work environments support recovery.\n\n\n\nMembers- The council consists over 60 organizations throughout Ohio. These diverse organizations provide tremendous variety in the expertise available to assist each other. \n\n\n\nFrequency- Quarterly meetings for 1.5 hours.\n\n\n\nWhere-  Thursday\, May 28\, 2015\n\n\n\nLocation- Room 204\, Ohio Emergency Management Agency at 2855 W. Dublin-Granville Rd in Columbus\, Ohio 43235. \n\n\n\nBest Practices- Over time\, the council has evolved into sharing of best practices. Organizations take turns hosting the ONG EAC to share what is working at their company ion effort to help other members. This is not a competition. All organizations openly share and assist each other to help Ohio's Veteran Military Member workforce. Past topics include:\n\n\n	City of Columbus: Supervisor Development Guide - Detailed guide to help supervisors before\, during and after their subordinate's deployment. \n	Cardinal Health: Veterans Professional Advancement Course - Monthly course for all Veterans and Military Members to help them with their career search. \n	Nationwide: Recruitment successes via a closed recruitment campaign with the ONG.\n	Huntington: Diversity & Inclusion Program and Military Business Resource Group.
