DESCRIPTION:Did you know...\n\n\n\nGirls' perceptions of their intelligence changes as they get older. In 5th grade\, 23% of girls do not feel they are smart enough for their dream career\, by high school this doubles to 46%.   2017 Ruling Our eXperiences\, Inc.\n\n\n\nConfidence declines as girls get older and desire to change appearance increases. The sharpest changes are from 5th grade to 9th grade\, then the rates level off during high school.   2017 Ruling Our eXperiences\, Inc.\n\n\n\nGirls who spend the most time using technology are five times more likely to say they are sad or depressed nearly every day.   2017 Ruling Our eXperiences\, Inc.\n\n\n\nWhile girls have the desire to become leaders and most (64%) report that they like being in charge\, nearly half (46%) continue to hold a perception that speaking their mind or disagreeing with others will keep people from liking them.   2017 Ruling Our eXperiences\, Inc.\n\n\n\nThis is why we are excited to announce our Empower Her workshop for middle school girls (Grades 5th and 6th). During this workshop\, we will touch on areas that impact these young ladies on a daily basis. This includes areas such as confidence\, self-image\, perception\, how to handle conflict in everyday interactions\, and how to live a life of intention and authenticity. \n\n\n\nIn order for us to be able to offer this workshop\, there is a fee of $20 per participant. Lunch is included. \n\n\n\nSpace is limited and registration and pre-payment are required. Once registration is completed\, an invoice will be sent to the email provided.
