    About Us

    Pickerington Schools is located 25 miles southeast of downtown Columbus. The school district serves approximately 12,000 students, preschool through 12th grade and covers an area approximately 20 square miles, including the City of Pickerington, Violet Township and neighborhoods within a small portion of the City of Columbus.

    Pickerington Schools has set a goal to become one of the state’s top-performing school districts and it continues to build a legacy as one of Ohio’s most respected school districts. All of the district’s schools have earned an respectable ratings on their State of Ohio Report Cards, and the district has earned “Excellent” or “Excellent with Distinction” for six years. In addition to providing challenging academic offerings for all students, Pickerington Schools prides itself on the wide array of opportunities for students to benefit from team and personal success, including athletics, performing arts, and club activities. Nearly 70% of the district’s high school students belong to a club or organization, and approximately 50% of the students also participate in athletics or the performing arts.
